NNL: Sunshine Stars Commence Open Screening To Discover New Players

Nigeria National League, NNL, club Sunshine Stars have commenced an open screening exercise for the selection of new players to strengthen the team.

The open screening which will be conducted by experienced tactician Duke Udi will start on Friday, June 5.

Interested players are expected to report to for training on weekdays from 8:00 a.m.

The screening exercise will hold at the ODSFA Games Village along Oda Road, Akure.

Selected players will join the retained players for the 2026-27 NNL season.

Sunshine Stars are targeting a return to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL after their failure last season.

The Owena Waves finished in fifth position with 25 points in the Conference A at the end of the 2025-26 NNL season.
