Nollywood actress Ini Edo has spoken out against the worsening insecurity in Nigeria, criticizing the government’s failure to protect its citizens.

In a video shared on her social media platforms, the mother of one expressed deep frustration over the ongoing violence, stating that innocent lives are being “sacrificed on the altar of power.”

Ini rejected official narratives surrounding the crisis, asserting that the rampant killings and kidnappings across the country cannot be excused or justified. She further challenged the administration, stating she refuses to accept that the government is incapable of curbing the nation’s security challenges.

‘’There is no way you guys can tell me that this situation cannot be curbed. I refuse to believe it. There is a story you guys are not telling us. Innocent people are being sacrified everyday on the altar of power. That is what it looks like to me.”
