Former Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said that anyone who pressures security to release or pardon a criminal is also a criminal.

He took to X to make this known, adding that the police as well as citizens must stand firm in curbing crimes.

He wrote: “I always maintain my stance and principles when it comes to fighting crimes and criminality. Dont even bother to contact me, pleading for a criminal. Its shameful, and it wont work out well.

“Anyone begging and mounting pressure on the police and security agencies to release or pardon a criminal or overlook a crimes is also a criminal. No two ways about it. Check yourself. We need to stand firm, remain resolute in curbing crimes and vices in our society, collectively.”
