Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has written a note to her late colleague, Alex Ekubo.
Newsunplug reported on Wednesday, June 10th, that his family, friends, and colleagues held a Service of Songs for him at the Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos. As expected, many celebrities attended the event to honour the late actor.
Following his Service of Songs, the light-skinned actress via her Instagram page described the event as the hardest hosting gig of her life. She noted how his death wasn’t their plan and refuses to put his name alongside RIP.
A heartbroken Nancy expressed how much she misses him.
“HARDEST Hosting Gig of my Life!
This wasn’t the plan, Old 20 Naira. This wasn’t the plan.
But 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and Matthew 5:4 are my assurance.
I refuse to put your name and rest in one sentence; I just can’t.
I miss you, my Brother”.
