Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has poked fun at her once-married colleagues.

While preaching about growth on her Instagram page, the once-controversial actress said she doesn’t envy married people because most of those she admired are back on the streets.

“You think I envy married people? God forbid. 80% of the ones I once admired are now back on the streets.
Who marriage help Abeg?”

Nkechi also shared a message about growth, admonishing people to walk away from those who, places, habits, and situations that no longer align with them.

“Growth sometimes looks like walking away.

Walking away from people, places, habits, and situations that no longer align with the person you’re becoming, not out of anger, bitterness, or pride—but out of self-respect. Some chapters are meant to end so new ones can begin. I’ve learned that protecting your peace is not selfish, and letting go is often the bravest form of self-love.

If it no longer serves your purpose, your happiness, or your growth, it’s okay to leave it behind. The right things won’t require you to abandon yourself to keep them”.
