Npfl: NSC Increases Title Prize To Historic N1bn

The winner of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, will earn a mouth- watering N1 billion prize money, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

As part of the new incentives announced by the National Sports Commission, NSC,  the  runners-up will earn N800 million, while the third-placed team will receive N700 million.

Teams finishing further down the table will also receive financial rewards based on their final positions.

A minimum monthly salary of N2 million for NPFL players has also been approved by the NSC

Enugu Rangers received N150  million for winning the NPFL title last season.

Previous winners Remo Stars earn N100 million.
