Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, on Tuesday, became the second-oldest player to score in the history of the FIFA World Cup tournament.

Ronaldo achieved the feat after scoring a brace for Portugal in their World Cup 5-0 win against Uzbekistan.

The goals make the Al-Nassr forward the second-oldest player to score at a World Cup behind Cameroon legend Roger Milla, who was 42 when he scored at the 1994 tournament in the United States.

Here are the oldest players to score in World Cup history:

1. Roger Milla (Cameroon), 42 years, 39 days (1994 vs. Russia)

2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal), 41 years, 138 days (2026 vs. Uzbekistan)

3. Pepe (Portugal), 39 years, 283 days (2022 vs. Switzerland)

4. Lionel Messi (Argentina), 38 years, 363 days (2026 vs. Austria)

5. Gunnar Gren (Sweden), 37 years, 236 days (1928 vs. West Germany)
