Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will participate in an invitational tournament in China next week as part of their preparations for the WAFU B U-17 Championship.

The former world champions started preparations for tournament in Abuja last week Tuesday under the guidance of Eboboritse Uwejamomere.

The players were majorly selected from the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) U-15 held last year.

The squad is expected to be trim down after the China tournament.

Burkina Faso will host the WAFU B U-17 Championship in November.

The competition will serve as the qualifier for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
