South African protesters went into homes to evict black foreign nationals, irrespective of their residency status.
South African anti-immigrant protesters set June 30, 2026, as the deadline for undocumented immigrants to leave their country.
As the deadline drew near, countries evacuated their citizens.
When the set deadline arrived, protesters forced their way into homes of immigrants to force them out. Even those who are documented were evicted and handed over to authorities.
A reporter filming the incident is heard saying: “Whether you’re documented, whether you’re undocumented, whether you’re elderly, whether you’re a child, you will be taken to authorities.”
