Nigerian singer Victony has reflected on his journey in the music industry, revealing that rapper Falz gave him his first major opportunity without asking for payment.
Speaking during a recent interview, the singer credited Falz’s support as one of the defining moments in the early stages of his career.
Victony also opened up about his recovery following his life-changing accident, describing music as the source of strength that kept him going through one of the most difficult periods of his life.
According to the singer, there were moments when he nearly gave up on music, especially after his management team parted ways with him.
He further disclosed that his demanding career has affected the amount of time he spends with his family, who often complain that he is no longer as close to them as he used to be.
Despite the challenges, Victony said he is working towards finding a better balance between his career and family life.

“Falz gave me my first opportunity in music, he did it for FREE, music was what kept me going during my recovery phase during my accident, there was times I felt like giving up on music after my management left & my family always complain that I’m no more close to them cuz of how busy I am with music but I’m working on that.”
