Two quarter-final fixtures at the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament have been confirmed.
This follows England’s Round of 16 win against co-host nation Mexico earlier today.
A brace from Jude Bellingham and a goal from Harry Kane ensured the Three Lions defeated Mexico 3-2 to progress to the quarter-final stage.
Thomas Tuchel’s side will now face Norway in the last-8 in the coming days.
Norway had defeated Brazil 2-1 on Sunday, thanks to Erling Haaland’s brace as Neymar’s goal was not enough.
Also, France will tackle Morocco in the other quarter-final fixture after beating Paraguay 1-0 in the Round of 16 at the weekend, thanks to Kylian Mbappe’s goal.
Morocco claimed a 3-0 win over co-hosts Canada to ensure they play in the last eight for a second consecutive tournament.
