Media personality Toke Makinwa is reflecting on her 30s.
While speaking with BBNaija Tacha on the latest edition of her podcast, she described her 30s as the worst years of her life, saying she doesn’t want to go back to it.
Toke revealed that she spent her 20s with just one man and wished she explored more before he gave her the experiences. She admitted that she wasn’t innocent and is glad she didn’t have a baby in her 30s.
“I don’t want to go back to my 30s; they were the worst years of my life. I spent my 20s with just one man, but I wish I had explored more because he gave me the experiences. I wasn’t innocent, and I’m glad I didn’t have a baby in my 30s”.
Still, on the podcast, Makinwa advised women against marrying in their 20s. She explained that at that age, they don’t know themselves, noting how those who got married at such an age regret it now.
“Women have no business getting married in their 20s. You don’t even know yourself yet. Those who did are regretting it now”.
