Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has addressed the narrative of calling women gold diggers in relationships.
She shared her two cents while speaking on men, finances, and relationships in a recent interview. Bukky said it is a man’s responsibility to ensure his partner is well taken care of, adding that a woman should be a source of pride to the man she is with.
The veteran added that she would never advise any woman to settle for less, stressing that men who cannot afford the responsibilities of a relationship should either date within their financial capacity or avoid dating until they are ready.
“I hate it when I hear men calling women gold diggers. What do you expect her to dig? I won’t advise any woman to dig anything less than gold. If you can not afford a woman, don’t go for it; go for the one you can afford”.
