Musician Adejoke Tella has revealed why she moved out of her husband’s house, saying she feared that he might harm her or their child in connection with an alleged money ritual.
Speaking during an interview with Biola Adeboye Ent., Tella recalled that the incident began in 2016 when she noticed her husband repeatedly entering an unoccupied room in their home at night. According to her, he would lock the room after coming out, a pattern she found unusual and disturbing.
Tella said her husband later disclosed that he and a friend had visited a herbalist in Ipetu in connection with a money ritual. She claimed that her husband told her the herbalist gave them an assignment that had to be completed within one week.
According to Tella, her husband explained that if they failed to carry out the task within the stipulated period, one of them would die while the other would become mentally unstable.
She said that after the one-week deadline passed, her husband began behaving in a manner that made her believe he had lost his sanity. Concerned for her safety and that of their child, Tella said she decided to leave the house.
In her words, “He explained that he went to a herbalist with his friend at Ipetu for money ritual. I asked him what he meant by money ritual. He is a graduate of the Business Administration department. He said they went for money ritual, and the man asked them to do something which they had to complete within a week; otherwise, one of them would die and the other would run mad.”
