Afrobeat singer Davido has declared himself the only billionaire’s child in the entertainment industry.
In a recent interview with The Vibe, he boasted about his global career and wealth, saying no peers from similar backgrounds match his achievements outside Africa.
The singer questioned which other billionaire’s child in the world has made a name for themselves and made a lot of money like him.
Boasting, he said, there is none apart from him.
“Not to brag, but which other billionaire’s child do you know in the world? I am not talking about Africa that has made a name for himself and also made a lot of money? You can’t make one apart from me”.
Elsewhere on the interview, Davido said he has been seeing money since he was a baby, so luxury things don’t excite him. He said he likes to live like a regular person.
The father of six expressed a desire for normalcy, like driving a Toyota to a public place without the constraints of fame. He also credited his family for grounding him through losses and scandals.
“I’ve been seeing money since I was a baby, so all these things don’t really excite me.
I like to live like a regular person”.
