Singer Peter Okoye has continued to share his side of the story over fallout with his brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye.
In the third part of his tell-all series, he alleged that he discovered he was no longer a signatory to Northside Entertainment’s bank account while trying to obtain the company’s statement of account.
He said further investigations revealed transactions involving royalties that he claimed he was unaware of. Peter alleged that payments made by music aggregators were being split without his knowledge and questioned why he had not been informed about the funds.
Peter questioned why his brothers would steal from him if money weren’t important. Describing their action as pure betrayal, he claimed that after Psquare’s breakup in 2017, royalties that should have been paid to Northside Entertainment were allegedly redirected to another entity known as Northside Music.
The singer claimed he discovered documents showing that over $1.2 million in royalties had been paid into the account between 2017 and 2023, without his consent.
Mr P, as he now goes by, said when he confronted their older brother, Jude, who was their manager, he didn’t get satisfactory answers. He said he also spoke with his twin to convince him that something was fishy; unfortunately, his efforts were futile.
Peter made it known that he isn’t speaking out to bring anyone down but to tell his side of the story.
