“This DNA Must Be Done”- Verydarkman Raises Fresh Concerns Over Liam’s Paternity Test

Online activist Verydarkman has raised fresh questions about the ongoing paternity dispute involving Liam, the son of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, alleging that some of the laboratories presented for the court-ordered DNA test may not have been capable of carrying out the required procedure.

In a recent video, Verydarkman explained that because Mohbad’s remains had reportedly been embalmed for more than two years, obtaining a conventional DNA sample through blood or bodily fluids would no longer be feasible.

He noted that a tissue-based DNA examination was therefore required. Such testing can involve the extraction of biological material from remains, including bone, skin or teeth, depending on the condition of the body.

According to the activist, the court instructed the parties involved in the case to each submit three laboratories, after which one laboratory from each side would be selected for the process.

He said the laboratories eventually put forward included DNA Diagnostics Center in Fairfield, Ohio, submitted by Mohbad’s father’s camp; Alpha BioLab in Warrington, United Kingdom, submitted by Wunmi’s side; and Advanced IS Pathology Laboratory Limited in London, reportedly recommended by the court’s welfare officer, Mrs R.O. Adiramo.

Verydarkman claimed that before the samples were taken, a member of Mohbad’s father’s team contacted the two laboratories that had not been nominated by their side to confirm whether they could handle the proposed DNA examination.

He said an inquiry sent to Alpha BioLab explained the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s remains, but the laboratory reportedly responded: “Unfortunately we cannot assist as the body has already been embalmed.”

He further claimed that another inquiry sent to Advanced IS Pathology Laboratory received a response indicating that the facility did not offer the required service.

The development, according to Verydarkman, raised concerns about the selection and verification of the laboratories involved in such a sensitive process. He questioned why a laboratory allegedly unable to conduct the required DNA procedure would have been recommended for consideration.

He also wondered what might have happened if the parties involved had not contacted the laboratories beforehand to verify their capabilities.

In addition, Verydarkman referred to testimony reportedly given by Prime Boy, Mohbad’s close friend, during the coroner’s inquest. According to the activist, Prime Boy recalled Mohbad making a statement during an argument about his uncertainty over Liam’s paternity.

The statement, as cited by Verydarkman, was: “I only moved closer to you once and I don’t even know if this baby is mine.”

He argued that the reported statement further demonstrated the importance of conducting an independently verified DNA test to settle the paternity controversy.

Verydarkman also mentioned claims surrounding an alleged private DNA test that was reportedly carried out previously. He said the result was said to have been inconclusive and was allegedly not made available to all the parties involved.

With the controversy still unresolved several years after Mohbad’s death, Verydarkman insisted that a properly conducted and independently verified tissue-based DNA examination remains necessary to establish the facts.

“This DNA must be done,” he said, stressing that the continued uncertainty has allowed the issue to remain unresolved for years.
