Some York University students have raised concerns online over the presence of the Lord’s Chosen church on campus, alleging that members have been actively approaching students and promoting the church.
One student claimed that the group had recently increased its activities around the university, with members allegedly seen wearing matching outfits and using microphones and speakers while preaching inside and outside the Student Center.
While acknowledging that religious groups have a place on campus, the student said the group’s approach to proselytising had made some students uncomfortable.
