Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has tagged women the providers on marriage, as she reflects on her crashed marriage to younger husband.
In an interview with Deacon Famous, she noted that she was just a few years older than her husband, yet people thought she was his mother. Ogbodo questioned how people can come up with such a bizarre statement.
The movie star said she believes women are more of providers and men are emotionally selfish, as they only care about themselves and not their women and children.
Speaking on true love, Uche said she thinks love fades over time.
“In this generation, statistically, I think women are more of providers. I am a few years older than my husband, and people were thinking I am his mother. How can you be with your younger lover, and people think you’re his mother? I think men are emotionally selfish; they care more about themselves than the woman and the children. I think love fades over time”.
