Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan will be laid to rest later today in his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State.
It is no longer news that the popular Yoruba actor is dead.
In a social media post by his colleague and friend, Jide Kosoko, he revealed that the actor died at 3pm on Sunday at 66 years and will be laid to rest in his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State. According to him, special prayers will be held at the pavilion in Ilaro in honour of the deceased.
“With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of ALHAJI TAIWO HASSAN, popularly known as OGOGO, who passed away at 3:00 p.m. today, Sunday, 23rd August 2026. At 66 years.
His remains will be taken to his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State today, where special prayers will take place at the Pavilion in Ilaro tomorrow
