Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he voted for an Arsenal player in the 2026 PFA Awards.
Fernandes, who won the Players’ Player of the Year award, however, refused to name the player.
The Portugal midfielder won the prize on Monday, ahead of Arsenal trio Declan Rice, David Raya and Gabriel Magalhães.
As nominees are not allowed to vote for themselves, Fernandes had to back a rival.
He said: “I won’t say who it was, but I voted for an Arsenal player.
“They were amazing, very strong and very difficult to play against. They were a team that was very successful, not just in the Premier League but also in European competition.”
