Nollywood actor Jigan Babaoja has distanced himself from TAMPAN Egba Zone Artistes Night.
To celebrate the life of late Taiwo Hassan, the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, Egba Zone will be holding a tribute night on August 29th to honour the late veteran.
According to the flyer, the event will feature many celebrities and public figures, and tickets will range from 2000 to 250,000.

In a public notice, Jigan, whose picture and name were featured on the flyer, said he has no involvement in the matter. He made it clear that he doesn’t support it and will not be a part of such actions for any reason.
Jigan noted how he built his name and brand on respect and integrity over the years, and doesn’t engage in trends or controversies to stay relevant.

This is to inform the general public that I, Abimbola Kazeem, popularly known as JiganbabaOja, have no involvement in the matter currently trending.
I do not support, nor will I ever be part of such actions for any reason. I am unaware of where this is coming from.
I have built my name and brand on respect and integrity over the years, and I do not engage in trends or controversies to stay relevant.
I urge my fans, family, and well-wishers to disregard these claims.
