Music executive Ubi Franklin has claimed that he has a technology capable of helping to address the persistent flooding problem in Lagos State.
Franklin made the statement while expressing his willingness to support efforts aimed at improving drainage and flood management across the state.
According to him, the technology could be used to open up blocked gutters and improve the flow of water, potentially reducing the impact of flooding in different parts of Lagos.
“I have a technology that can open up all the gutters in Lagos State and stop flooding, if the Commissioner for the Environment is ready,” Franklin said.
His comment comes amid ongoing concerns over flooding in Lagos, particularly during periods of heavy rainfall when blocked drainage channels can worsen water accumulation and disrupt movement across several communities.
