Tanzanian singer and husband of Priscilla Ojo, Juma Jux, has addressed claims of fathering a child with another woman.
Reports circulating online claimed that the Tanzanian singer has a secret child with another woman.
Addressing the report, via his social media page, Juma described the claims as false and harmful. He said he initially didn’t want to comment because the report had no credibility, but his reputation, family, and business were on the line.
He noted that he spent years building his name and business through hard work, discipline, and dedication, and wouldn’t let it go down the drain.
Juma said he had personally reached out to the woman in question and she had also denied the rumours, saying she had never been in any relationship with him.
While threatening legal action, Juma expressed sadness at how unverified claims have become the order of the day on the internet. He urged the public to fact-check before spreading stories, while issuing a warning against tagging him to false reports.
He wrote in Swahili: “Anyone who chooses to associate my name, my family, or my businesses with false allegations must be prepared to be held accountable according to the law,” closing with the words: “I have chosen peace, truth, and the appropriate legal action”.
