Nigerian businessman and social media personality Blord has claimed that a bank offered him a ₦12 billion loan after he initially requested ₦5 billion to expand the importation capacity of his gadget business.
Blord made the claim in a statement shared on social media, saying the bank contacted him after his request and questioned why he wanted only ₦5 billion.
According to him, the bank told him to increase the amount because of the strength of his business and reputation.
Blord said, “I talked to a bank to give me ₦5billion loan to increase the importation capacity of my gadget business. The bank called me today saying why am I asking for just N5B that I should take ₦12Billion because they know it’s BLord.”
His claim has sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users questioning the statement and others marvelling at the alleged amount involved.
