NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi has warned politicians and government officials against attempting to manipulate the outcome of the 2027 elections.
Speaking at an ongoing town hall meeting in Rivers State, Obi said anyone who attempts to prevent votes from counting should be held accountable, while calling for an end to political threats and intimidation.
The former Anambra State governor criticised governors and political appointees who allegedly issue directives on election outcomes and threaten opponents, describing such behaviour as unacceptable.
Obi also challenged all candidates seeking elective positions in 2027 to directly engage with voters, present their plans to the people and allow Nigerians to decide who they want to elect.
