Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has been left emotional over her growth as she is set to make her acting debut.
The movie star, who has been in the industry for over a decade, has yet to star in any cinema movie, but that will change by December, as Nkechi is set to make her cinema debut in two movies: The Secret Life of Baba Sege and The Figurines.

Nkechi recalled being insulted by a blogger who questioned how many cinema movies she had done. She said the blogger’s statement was an attack from one of her colleagues, whose identity she didn’t reveal.
The controversial actress, who has since turned a new leaf, said she has been through a lot in the industry, yet God still comes through for her because she refuses to give up.
“I just wrapped set like 20 minutes ago, and I have just been thinking. I am actually going to be in movies coming to cinemas, from one of the top filmmakers, Mo Abudu. How did all of this happen? I remember when Stella Dimokoko insulted me and said, “How many cinema movies have I done?” That was an attack from someone close to me through her, but that’s a story for another day.
I have been through a lot in this industry, and God still manage to see me through because she refused to give up.
I don’t want to tear up, and I don’t want to be emotional.
So many things can change as long as you don’t give up.
I don’t want to tear up because a lot has been going through my head.
Thank you to every single person who sat in the room and mentioned my name for that script. I got it and shot it, and I was paid heavily- I mean millions of naira”.
