The cause of the death of British influencer Igho Ubiribo, better known as Tiny or Ego, has been revealed.
According to reports online, the late influencer died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand.
A UK inquest revealed that Igho was injected at an unnamed Thai clinic in March, while on holiday with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, at the time and was staying at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok when he decided to have the operation.
Igho went for a massage after his procedure, and it was then that the businessman started to complain of chest pain and passed out twice.
The late influencer was taken to Sukhumvit Hospital by ambulance, where he was able to answer questions normally while his wife informed medics of his filled injections.
His primary care doctor in London, speaking out, confirmed his medical history, including a past operation on his joints. He was pre-diabetic and had gout but no other health conditions.
Tiny was recommended for a CT scan by Thai doctors, but he lost consciousness before it could be performed.
An inquest into his case revealed that he suffered a pulmonary embolism (a clot blocking a blood vessel in the lungs), and he was transferred to intensive care. CPR was performed for 100 minutes, but he died shortly after.
A post-mortem in the UK later discovered materials consistent with the penis filler in his lungs and concluded that the procedure caused his embolism.
