Investigative journalist Femi Folorunsho has announced that his investigation into Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s SPAC Nation community in the UK is deepening.
In a statement shared online, Folorunsho claimed that he had received information and evidence which, according to him, raised concerns about vulnerable young people allegedly being drawn into networks linked to fr@ud and exploitation.
“Our investigation into Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s SPAC Nation church in the UK is getting deeper. We have received information and evidence raising serious concerns about vulnerable young people allegedly being drawn into networks linked to fr@ud and exploitation,” Folorunsho said.
The development comes amid renewed scrutiny of SPAC Nation and its leadership. The organisation has faced allegations of financial exploitation and safeguarding concerns in the UK, while British authorities previously investigated aspects of its operations. SPAC Nation has denied wrongdoing.
In 2022, the UK government secured the winding-up of Salvation Proclaimer Ministries Limited, associated with SPAC Nation, after findings including a lack of transparency and inadequate accounting for more than £1.87 million in spending.
