Frank Onyeka has said the Super Eagles must strive to win every game in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Éric Chelle’s side will begin their quest for a place at the AFCON 2027 finals with a home fixture against the Barea of Madagascar on Friday.
The Group L encounter will hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo. It will kick-off at 5pm local time.
Onyeka said it is important for the Super Eagles to start the qualifiers on a positive note.
“Just like every other match that we’ll be playing, we have to win every game,” Onyeka told a media parley in Uyo.
“I know we’re quite disappointed not to qualify for the World Cup, but now we’re back. We have something to prepare for, which is the AFCON next year.”
