Operatives of the Delta State Command Anti-Cult Unit (CACU) have arrested one Chukwuka Nzete (aka “Ododo”) ‘m’ of Isupe Community, Ndokwa West LGA, who poses as a native doctor but is allegedly involved in the illegal sale and proliferation of firearms.
According to SP Bright Edafe, spokesperson if the command, the suspect allegedly operates a shrine where suspected criminal elements were fortified.
Edafe said a search of the suspect’s residence led to the recovery of one pump-action gun, four dagger knives, one battle axe and pots containing substances suspected to be charms.
Edafe mentioned that the suspect has been taken into custody, while investigation is ongoing to unravel the full extent of his activities and possible links with other criminal elements.
