Nigerian social media personality Tunde Perry has advised businessman and philanthropist King Ochacho to reconsider the way he is promoting his son, Ice King, in the entertainment industry.
Tunde Perry acknowledged the young artiste’s vocal ability but expressed concern that Ochacho’s heavy financial involvement in his son’s career could negatively affect his growth in the industry.
In a message directed at Ochacho, he urged the businessman to reduce his financial interventions and allow his son to build his career more organically.
He said:
“Ochacho, your son has a good voice but if you continue like this you will spoil his career. You are always so quick to give people money, stop it with immediate effect. I don’t need anything from you, this is just an advice. I’m not saying you should add me to the list of people promoting your son, I don’t want that. Stop using your money to promote your son, everything is not about money”
Tunde Perry stressed that his comments were not made because he wanted financial support or an opportunity to be included among those promoting Ice King.
Instead, he described his remarks as genuine advice to Ochacho, urging him to consider a different approach to supporting his son’s musical journey.
The comments come amid growing attention around Ice King’s emerging career and the support he has received from his father.
