Nollywood actress Omowunmi Dada has tooted her horns as her movie, Black Market, breaks Guinness World Records.
Newsunplug reported on Saturday that Nollywood broke Guinness World Records after over 51,000 people gathered at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos to watch ‘Black Market’.
The Guess World Records executives confirmed it during the event, announcing that it is now the largest audience gathering ever for a film screening.
Black Market surpassed the previous record of 43,624 set by Felix Manalo in the Philippines in 2015.
The movie, which has generated buzz online, was produced by Rixel Studios and features Omowunmi Dada, Lateef Adedimeji, Uzor Arukwe, Linda Ejiofor Suleiman, Scarlet Gomez, Itele, Teniola Aladese, Susan Pwajok, and others.
Following the record-breaking achievement, Omowunmi, the movie’s lead star, shared a video on her social media page of herself raising her shoulders.
