A Nigerian lady, Glory Okotie, has tackled a female doctor who criticised her choice of outfit to the hospital, claiming it was inappropriate.
Sharing her story in a Facebook post on Monday, September 28, 2026, Glory argued that a doctor’s job is to treat patients, not police their clothing.
She further noted that the doctor had no right to comment on her outfit, pointing out that she herself had dreadlocks, a nose ring, hoop earrings and multiple fancy rings on her fingers.
“Went to the hospital and the doctor told me I was dressed inappropriately,” she wrote.

She then asked how I would view her if she’s dressed in a short skirt as a doctor and I told her I wouldn’t care about it because true true, wetin concern me with your mini skirt?
She paused.

Everybody paused.
I don’t know what it is about female doctors that they try to do more than their job requirement. Wetin concern you and my skirt? I be your employee?
I be your pikin? You no even respect say I be adult?
