Social media influencer D English Alhaji has raised concerns over his safety, claiming that he has been receiving death threats following his interview involving allegations against Senator Shehu Buba.
In a video circulating online, the influencer shared conversations with a man who allegedly threatened to kill him after the interview.
“I have been receiving a lot of threats following my interview involving the senator who was accused of terrørism and b@nditry.”
D English Alhaji said the threats started after the interview and have continued, prompting him to speak publicly about concerns over his safety.
The controversy followed an interview in which a man identified as Hassan made allegations linking Senator Shehu Buba to individuals involved in banditry. Buba has repeatedly denied the allegations, describing the claims and circulated videos as misinformation and a campaign against his reputation.
D English Alhaji has previously reported receiving threats connected to his commentary on insecurity. In September, he disclosed an alleged fresh death threat after publishing the interview, including a recording in which a caller reportedly told him, “You are dead man.”
The latest development has generated reactions online, with users urging the influencer to take the threats seriously and seek protection.
