Paris Saint-Germain president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has admitted that he wants one of his players to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.
Al-Khelaifi, speaking with Marca, listed the trio of Ousmane Dembele, Fabian Ruiz and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
He said: “Obviously, I want one of my three players to win it: Dembele, Kvaratskhelia or Fabian Ruiz, who also deserves it.
“Although you know that I know Kylian Mbappe well and that he is one of the best players in the world.”
The PSG trio of Dembele, Ruiz and Kvaratskhelia are among the 30 nominees shortlisted for the award.
During the year under review, the Ligue 1 giants won the league title and also lifted the Champions League for the second consecutive season.
