Isaac Fayose, a brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has criticised some residents of the state for openly campaigning for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fayose expressed his displeasure in a social media post, where he questioned the decision of some Ekiti residents to support the ruling party.
According to him, some residents are willing to campaign for politicians they may have previously criticised in exchange for financial incentives.
He wrote: “Look at Ekiti State people, what a disgr@ce. Give them ₦2,000, they will campaign for their oppr£ssor.”
His comment has since drawn attention online, with the statement sparking discussions about political loyalty, financial inducements and the factors that influence voters’ decisions during election periods.
