BBNaija star Phyna has rejected a suggestion that she should face DJ Dimple in another celebrity boxing bout, insisting that she wants to fight Jarvis instead.
Phyna made the statement after defeating actress Nkechi Blessing in their celebrity boxing contest at Balmoral Promotions’ Chaos in the Ring event in Lagos on Thursday, October 1. She stopped Nkechi Blessing in the fourth round of the scheduled four-round bout.
Following her victory, Phyna was reportedly encouraged to take on DJ Dimple next.
However, the reality star immediately rejected the idea, joking that fighting DJ Dimple could put her life at risk.
She said:
“Somebody said I should go and fight DJ Dimple. So you guys want her to send me to 6 feet? I’m not risking my life fighting a professional boxer like DJ Dimple. Give me Jarvis, she’s the one I want to fight.”
Phyna’s statement comes after she made history as the winner of Nigeria’s first female celebrity boxing bout. Following the victory, she had also called out actress Etinosa Idemudia as another potential opponent.
