Nigerian singer B-Red has sparked reactions online after defending the source of his wealth while revealing the price of his jewellery.
The singer, who is the son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, reportedly made the statement while discussing the cost of his jewellery, insisting that the items were purchased long before his father became governor.
Addressing concerns that his expensive accessories might have been acquired with government funds, B-Red said, “This no be government money. I don buy these things before my papa become governor.”
His comment has drawn attention online, with social media users reacting to his explanation and the price of his jewellery.
The singer’s statement appeared aimed at dismissing suggestions that his luxury lifestyle was funded with public money, as he maintained that he had acquired the items before his father’s emergence as governor.
