Bandits have reportedly demanded N500m ransom for the release of a pregnant woman abducted in Kaduna State.
NEWSUNPLUG reported that the pregnant woman, identified as Jamila, was abducted alongside Ahmed Zakka, his wife and their baby on October 5, 2026.
Security analyst and conflict reporter, Bakatsine, disclosed this on X on Thursday night, October 15, following the release of Zakka and his family.
“Since Ahmed Zakka and his young family regained their freedom, we must also remember Jamila, the pregnant woman still being held by bandits after her abduction in Millennium City, Kaduna State,” he wrote.
“Reports say her abductors have contacted her husband and are demanding 500 million Naira for her release. In a heartbreaking message, Jamila reportedly expressed fears for her life.
“Please, we need to turn our attention now to her too. We appeal collectively to the authorities, security agencies and everyone who can help to do everything possible to secure her safe rescue.
“Jamila is pregnant and needs urgent help. Her family is waiting for her, and her unborn baby deserves a chance at life. May Allah protect her and bring her home safely. Ameen.”
