Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko opens up about his personal life.
In an interview with Biola Bayo, he disclosed that he has lost three wives – one of whom died during childbirth. According that was Bidemi Kosoko’s mother, who died during childbirth.
“I lost my wife through childbirth; that’s Bidemi’s mother. I have lost three wives”.
He admonished the public to treat their children equally and let them know they’re equal in his mind.
“Treat your children equally; let them know they’re equal in your mind”.
Jide said he developed diabetes in 1996, and now understands his health better than some doctors do.
“I became diabetic in 1996; I understand my health better than some doctors do”.
Speaking about his career, he said he started theatre at age 10 in 1964 and formed his own group in 1972. Kosoko said he can confidently say he is one of the industry’s pioneers.
