Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Monday that Israel will not hesitate to strike its enemies at a moment’s notice, speaking eight days ahead of a closely contested election and following renewed warnings directed at Iran.
In a video statement delivered from an unspecified military base, Netanyahu stated that he met with base commanders to review operational readiness and capabilities.
“I say to our enemies: Do not test us — you will receive harsher blows than you have suffered to date,” Netanyahu said, emphasizing Israel’s rapid-response striking capacity.
The remarks come amid heightened security tensions across the region, with the prime minister reinforcing defense readiness as part of his final campaign engagements ahead of the polls.
