A 76-year-old Georgia woman has been accused of mudering her ex-husband and his younger girlfriend because she wasn’t happy with their relationship.
Grace Edge was arrested and charged with the murders of her former spouse, Wallace Truman Edge, 75, and his girlfriend Pamela Cook, 40, after she allegedly targeted them at a house in Toombs County, Ga., Monday afternoon, officials said.
Edge allegedly barged into the home on McNatt Falls Road in Uvalda, Ga., and launched the deadly attack, firing her gun five times.
Wallace Edge and Cook were shot a combined four times and were pronounced dead at the scene from the gunshot wounds, WTOC reported.
Cook’s 55-year-old mother, Diane Cook, was inside the home during the shooting and called 911 before she was shot in the arm.

Cook’s 55-year-old mother, Diane Cook, was inside the home during the shooting and called 911 before she was shot in the arm.
“She just come in start shooting,” the older Cook said in a call to police, according to the outlet.
The frantic caller told the dispatcher that there were no arguments before the gunshots, saying, “No, she come in just shooting.”
Officials revealed that the Edges had been divorced for over a decade but kept an on-again, off-again relationship until Wallace Edge began seeing the 40-year-old Cook.
“Mr. Edge had started dating Pamela, and it appears that, based on information we received, Grace was not accepting of the situation,” Toombs County Sheriff Jordan Kight told WTOC.
Grace Edge was taken into custody shortly after the shooting.
“We believe she had drove straight from the residence where this happened and drove straight here to the sheriff’s office,” Kight said.
Kight revealed that the once-married couple repeatedly called the cops on each other to their home, alleging domestic disputes and other incidents against the other.
No arrests were made in any of the previous dozens of incidents, according to the outlet.
Toombs is facing seven charges in the double slaying, including two counts of Malice Murder, 2 counts of Murder, and three counts of Aggravated Assault.
She is being held at the Toombs County Detention Center awaiting her first court appearance, according to police.
