Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has broken down during her birthday surprise.
She had shared a stunning photo of herself, describing her new age as a beautiful beginning. Peggy said she was celebrating the woman she is becoming as she learns to give herself grace, welcome joy without fear, and trust God even when she can’t see what comes next.
To celebrate her birthday, a friend of the actress hired a band to sing for her.
In the clip, Peggy was seen weeping uncontrollably as the lead singer recounted all she went through in her marriage.
She revealed that Peggy navigated her whole life by herself, suffered betrayal at an early age, and has been working since she was going. She said Peggy has seen a lot, experienced a lot, suffered betrayal, public humiliation and heartbreak.
According to the praise singer, she would call her friend early in the morning, crying over her life battles.
“She navigated this whole life all by herself. Which betrayal did she not experience? From a young age, she has been working. She has seen a lot; she has experienced a lot. Is it the betrayal? Is it the heartbreak? Is it the public humiliation? Sometimes she would call me at 2 AM or 3 AM, and I didn’t have the strength to do anything for her. She would call me and cry; she would shed bitter tears. She would tell me, “See my experience.” The only thing I could do for her at that time was to encourage her”.
