Tech billionaire and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has named the legendary 18th-century German composer Johann Sebastian Bach as his favorite musician of all time.
Sharing his admiration on his official X handle, Musk praised the classical composer by drawing a parallel to one of history’s greatest literary figures.
“Johann Sebastian Bach is the Shakespeare of music. Best there ever was,” Musk wrote.
Johann Sebastian Bach was a prolific German composer, organist, harpsichordist, violist, and violinist of the Baroque period, renowned for enduring masterpieces such as the Brandenburg Concertos, The Well-Tempered Clavier, the Goldberg Variations, and the St. Matthew Passion.
