Nigerian rapper A-Q has recounted a terrifying experience after allegedly surviving a machete attack by a group of masked men in Accra, Ghana.
The rapper revealed that about 10 masked men riding on five motorcycles surrounded him, with some of the attackers swinging machetes at him as he struggled to escape.
Recounting the incident, A-Q said:
“About ten masked men on five motorcycles surrounded me. The riders tried to box me into a corner while the men on the back swung machetes at me. My elbow took a blow that was meant for my head. I managed to break away and run across the road, where a good Samaritan picked me up and rushed me to Lister Hospital at Airport Hills Blvd. I was taken straight into surgery and my injuries were treated…”
According to his account, one of the machete blows struck his elbow instead of his head. He eventually managed to escape from the attackers and run across the road, where a Good Samaritan came to his aid.
The rapper was subsequently rushed to Lister Hospital at Airport Hills Boulevard in Accra and taken straight into surgery for treatment of his injuries.
