Liverpool great, Jamie Carragher, believes Manchester United should turn to Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery, if they choose to sack Michael Carrick.
Carrick is under mounting pressure at Man United after the Red Devils lost 3-0 to Bournemouth in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Carrick’s side currently sits in 16th position in the Premier League table after losing to Bournemouth.
“Unai Emery is a manager I look at when I think about Manchester United,” Carragher told Sky Sports when asked about Carrick’s potential replacement at United.
“I think Emery is the best manager in the Premier League,” he added.
Emery, who has been Aston Villa manager since 2022, has coached clubs like Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Villarreal and Sevilla in the past.
