We’ve had four weeks of suspense, suspicion and very suspect tactics, as some of Britain’s biggest stars engaged in a battle of wits to win the most popular show on TV.
The second series of BBC One’s The Celebrity Traitors reached its climax on Friday, with the 21 original contestants having been reduced to seven before the final.
They were then whittled down to two winners – with the faithful duo of comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Heartstopper actor Sebastian “Bash” Croft emerging victorious.
The players successfully banished the remaining traitors – Love Island host Maya Jama and YouTuber King Kenny – in dramatic fashion, and the winning pair shared the £83,000 prize for their charities.

More than 15 million people have been tuning in to this series.
Kenny reached the final stage, the endgame, after turning on his fellow traitor Maya at the last round table.
Kenny, Romesh and Bash were joined by singer James Blunt in the climax of the endgame, where the remaining contestants gather around a fire pit to decide whether they think there are any traitors left.
When James and Kenny were tied in a vote for who was a traitor, Bash persuaded Romesh to banish Kenny instead of James – thereby securing victory for team faithful.
“Absolutely devastated. Almost scraped it,” Kenny seethed. “I was so close, I smelled the victory.”
However, he can take consolation from the fact his performance on the show has established him as a mainstream star.

In a further twist, James chose another round of voting and was subsequently evicted himself, leaving Romesh and Bash as the last men standing.
