A Zamfara woman, Nana Batula, and her two children have regained their freedom after one month in bandits’ captivity.

Armed bandits invaded the family residence in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State on May 30, 2026, k!lled her husband Sagir Umar before whisking them away.

Security analyst Bakatsine confirmed their release on July 1, 2026.

A source close to the family confirmed the release, expressing gratitude to Allah for their safe return.

The victims are currently receiving medical and psychological support.
