Nigerian actress Sarah Martins has accused officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation (KAI) of assault during her charitable food distribution in Lekki Phase 1.
Sharing her experience on Instagram, Sarah explained that she was handing out free meals to underprivileged individuals along Admiralty Way when KAI officers allegedly confiscated her cooking equipment and food.
She further revealed that the confrontation turned violent, claiming she was physically attacked and suffered a burn on her hand from hot oil.
“I was only trying to assist the less fortunate, and this is the response I received,” the actress shared, expressing her distress over the incident.
The situation comes shortly after Sarah celebrated the purchase of a new car on social media. The alleged assault has sparked outrage among her fans, many of whom have demanded accountability from the officials involved.
